Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of sepivex.com and set out the general basis on which Sepivex offers its services.
They are not a contract for services. Every paid engagement is governed by a written proposal, statement of work or service agreement agreed between you and us (an "Engagement Agreement"). If an Engagement Agreement conflicts with these terms, the Engagement Agreement applies.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Who we are
Sepivex is a software quality engineering and test automation business. It is operated from Pakistan by its founder, Huzaifa Khalid, as an individual business trading under the name Sepivex ("Sepivex," "we," "us"). You can contact us at hello@sepivex.com.
3. Using this website
You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to:
- use the website unlawfully, or to send spam, malicious code or misleading information;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting or any connected system, or interfere with how it works; or
- copy or reuse substantial parts of the website's content or design for commercial purposes without our written permission.
4. Information on this website
The website provides general information about our services. It is not professional advice, a binding offer, or a guarantee of any result.
We aim to keep the website accurate and current, but service details, availability and prices may change. The terms that apply to a particular engagement are those in its Engagement Agreement.
5. Our services and how engagements begin
We provide test automation engineering services, including:
- the Free Automation Audit;
- Automation Foundation; and
- ongoing Automation Retainers.
API automation and CI/CD work are delivered within these services, or as separately scoped engagements where appropriate.
Submitting a form or contacting us does not create a contract, and does not oblige either of us to proceed. An engagement begins only when we both agree an Engagement Agreement in writing. We may decline any request.
6. Pricing
Prices shown on this website are our standard prices for the scope described alongside them.
- Automation Foundation is a fixed-price project, starting at $3,500, for the standard scope described on the Automation Foundation page. Work involving materially greater complexity, or scope beyond that standard scope, is quoted separately.
- Automation Retainers are fixed monthly prices for the defined scope of each tier:
- Automation Care — $2,500/month
- Automation Ownership — $4,000/month
- Automation Engineering Partner — $6,500/month
- Custom Engagement. Requirements that do not fit a standard retainer tier may be scoped as a Custom Engagement. This is a scoping path. It is not a discount on, or an alternative price for, the standard tiers.
The final price, scope and payment terms for an engagement are set out in its Engagement Agreement.
7. Free Automation Audit
The Free Automation Audit is a free, bounded diagnostic of your automation and testing situation, resulting in a written assessment.
- Who it is for. It is intended for teams with a genuine software product, an active release cadence and an identifiable testing or release problem. We may decline requests that do not fit. If you do not yet have a live product or active release cadence, we will suggest discussing a proposal instead.
- Bounded. We allocate a maximum of 90 minutes of total founder time to each Audit.
- Diagnostic only. The Audit identifies and prioritises issues. It does not:
- fix, rewrite or refactor anything;
- build tests or implement CI/CD;
- perform manual QA; or
- perform security or performance testing, or make security or performance claims.
- Access. We never request production or live-environment access for the Audit. If you choose to share repository access, CI/CD configuration or test reports, read-only and temporary access is preferred. You confirm that you are authorised to share it.
- No guarantee. The assessment reflects the information available to us. Its findings and recommendations are professional opinions, not guarantees of any outcome.
- No obligation. The recommended next step is only a recommendation, and you are not obliged to buy anything. The Audit is not required before you request Automation Foundation.
8. Scope and changes
Each engagement has a defined scope. Work outside that scope is never absorbed silently. We will tell you when a request falls outside the agreed scope. It can then be quoted separately, or handled through an agreed change to the engagement, such as a different retainer tier.
9. Automation Retainers
- Optional. Ongoing support is optional. A retainer is never required to receive Automation Foundation work.
- Minimum term. Retainers have a minimum commitment of three months.
- Defined capacity. Each retainer tier includes a defined monthly capacity for agreed automation work. Capacity is not unlimited. The applicable Engagement Agreement or statement of work defines the scope and capacity for the engagement.
- Response is not resolution. Response expectations describe when we will acknowledge and begin engaging with a request. They are not commitments about how long it will take to resolve an issue.
- No same-day or emergency support. No retainer tier includes same-day or emergency response.
- After Automation Foundation. Where a retainer follows Automation Foundation, a stabilisation period of about two to four weeks normally comes before the retainer formally begins.
10. Ownership of work product
When we build automation for you, you own the automation work product we produce for you, subject to the terms of the applicable Engagement Agreement. This includes the produced test code, framework architecture and applicable CI/CD configuration. Moving into a retainer does not change who owns it.
Your ownership does not extend to:
- third-party tools, frameworks, libraries and platforms used in the work. These remain subject to their own licences and terms; and
- our general skills, know-how and methods, and any reusable tools or materials that are not specific to you. How these may be used within your work product is addressed in the Engagement Agreement.
We use standard, non-proprietary tooling, so your automation is not locked into a Sepivex-owned system.
11. Your responsibilities
When you work with us, you agree to:
- provide accurate information, and the access, environments and cooperation reasonably needed for the agreed work;
- make sure you are authorised to give us any access or materials you provide; and
- avoid sharing production credentials, or more personal data than the work requires.
12. Confidentiality
Please do not send confidential information, credentials or source code through our website form.
Confidentiality for an engagement, including any repository access, is governed by the Engagement Agreement or a separate non-disclosure agreement.
13. Third-party services and links
Our work may involve third-party tools, platforms and services, such as CI/CD providers, testing frameworks and hosting platforms. We are not responsible for their availability, terms, pricing or changes.
This website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
14. Our intellectual property
The content, design, text, logos and brand of this website belong to Sepivex or its licensors. You may view the website and share links to it. These terms do not give you any other right to use them.
15. No guarantees
Test automation improves confidence in software releases, but it cannot prove that software is free of defects. Unless an Engagement Agreement expressly says otherwise, we do not guarantee:
- any specific release outcome, defect rate or test coverage figure;
- the security or performance of your software; or
- any specific numerical result.
16. Liability for use of this website
We provide this website for general information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss arising from reliance on its content, or from the website being unavailable or containing errors.
Our responsibilities for paid services are set out in the relevant Engagement Agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its "Last updated" date, applies to your use of the website from that date. Changes do not affect an Engagement Agreement already in place.
18. Governing law and disputes
The law that governs an engagement, and how disputes about it are resolved, will be set out in its Engagement Agreement.
If you have a concern about this website or these terms, please contact us first at hello@sepivex.com, so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have under mandatory laws that apply to you.
